It's the last day to purchase Lititz Elementary Spirit Wear.  We can't wait to show our pride!

 Our final total for the Jump Rope for Heart event was 8,474 dollars. This was 4,000 dollars more than our total last year!

Spring has sprung!  Here are a few reminders:

Although it is officially Springtime, the weather remains cool! Please remember to send your child to school with a coat or sweatshirt.  

Trees and flowers will start blooming and the pollen counts will soon be high! If you know your child suffers from seasonal allergies, consider giving them a non-drowsy antihistamine in the mornings such as Claritin or Zyrtec. We do not stock this type of medicine in the health room, and school nurses are not permitted to administer this without an order from your doctor.

As the days become longer, find ways to limit screen time and spend time outside as a family instead. Go for an evening walk, attend a Warwick sporting event, or play at a local park.  Below is a fun  spring scavenger hunt.

Finally, with Easter right around the corner, be cautious with excessive candy intake! Sugar is linked to poor behavior, increased risk for infections, acne, dental cavities, and is very addictive! Remember, with children, good habits need to start early!
