Field Day Tshirts
On Field Day we ask that each grade level wear their assigned colored shirt. Your child may wear any school appropriate shirt that is that color. If you'd like, you may order a Lititz Elementary Shirt in that color. The color for each grade level will follow the students through their years at Lititz Elementary.

Tips About Ticks:
Warmer weather has finally arrived and most of us can't wait to be outside. In Pennsylvania, children ages 5 to 15 are at very high risk for Lyme Disease caused by deer ticks. Here are some tips for prevention:
Use an EPA registered insect repellent on your child when they are playing outside.
Treat dogs with monthly flea and tick medicine such as Simparica Trio or the Seresto collar.
Shower and complete a full body check after being outside. Look closely because ticks can be tiny.
Remove a tick immediately upon discovery using fine-tipped tweezers and pull straight upward. Dispose of the tick in a sealed plastic bag. Clean hands and the bite area thoroughly using rubbing alcohol or soap.
If you think the tick was attached for more than twenty-four hours, or you aren't sure, touch base with your healthcare provider for further guidance or treatment.
Do these look familiar?
Please call the office if any of these look like they belong to your child.
A Note from PTO
It's that time of year again where we get the privilege of showering our LE staff with raffle baskets throughout Staff Appreciation Week! The below are the themes we will be doing this year, PTO is asking for donations to go with the themes per grade level and teacher! Please send in the donations with your student by April 24th, so we can get the baskets together for Staff Appreciation the following week. Our teachers/staff are so valuable, we can't wait to spoil them a bit!!
If you have any questions please reach out to Allison Strauss at Awingert8986@gmail.com. Thank you!!
