Weekly classes continue to meet on Monday and Friday. Lesson topics for the second quarter include Coping Skills, Bullying, Choice Making, Conflict Resolution, Friendship, and Safety.
All 6th Grade students participated in a state-mandated suicide awareness presentation in September. Please access the parent letter here. In addition, 6th grade has been exploring careers and most have completed their state-required ILP that may be accessed in middle school and high school. The school counselor is a member of the educational leadership and mental health team who gives valuable assistance to students with their academic goals and social, personal, and career development. As part of the school wide comprehensive counseling program, your school counselor delivers whole group guidance instruction in the classroom and brief counseling to small groups and individuals. School counselors support and serve students, their families, and school staff.
Students: To schedule a visit with the school counselor, speak with your teacher to complete a School Counselor Support Form. If you need immediate assistance please reach out to another member of our Leadership Team.
