If you forgot to send a transportation note with your student or have a last minute change you can easily send in a transportation note without even picking up the phone? Its as easy as going to the North Warren Website clicking on parent and student information and then clicking on the daily transportation change form. Simply fill it out and the change will be noted in the office.

*Be sure to check your child's folder each night.
*Be sure to check Talking Points regularly... if you are not receiving messages please let us know.
*Water bottles are welcome in our classroom. Please remember that they can only have water in them.
*Your child may want to keep a light jacket in their backpack...our room temperature is hard to regulate. Sometimes it may get chilly.
*During the winter months, we will continue to go outside for recess if weather is permitting. Please make sure your child is bringing a coat to school with them.
Melanie Jones...Hello 1st Grade Eagle Families, I am excited to start my 31st year of teaching at North Warren Elementary. Not only have I taught at North Warren my entire career, I also attended North Warren from 1st - 8th grade. My husband and I have 3 children that have and are attending North Warren. I look forward to this school year and am excited to watch your child grow as a leader, academically and as a whole child throughout this year.

Hello 1st grade families! I am excited to start my 5th year here at North Warren. I was born and raised in the Seattle area, but transplanted to Colorado in 2008. We had 13 wonderful years there, but upon graduating from the University of Northern Colorado where I majored in Elementary Education with an emphasis in special education, we made the exciting decision to chase our dream of moving our little family of 5 to Kentucky. I am thrilled to get to know each of you and your children better and cheer them on as they grow and learn this school year.

Welcome 1st grade families! I’m so excited to begin another wonderful year at North Warren! I moved to Bowling Green, KY, in 2020 with my husband after graduating from Western Kentucky University with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. This year marks my 6th year teaching at North Warren, and it has truly been such an amazing experience working with our students and families.
I am currently pursuing my master’s degree in School Counseling, as I have a passion for supporting students both academically and emotionally. At home, I am a proud mom to two sweet boys who keep life full of fun and adventure.
I’m looking forward to getting to know each of you and working together to make this year an exciting and successful one for your child!
