What Are We Learning? 

Structured Literacy:

  •  I can write Oo correctly and tell the sounds it makes. I can tell the number of syllables in a word.  

  • I can identify and produce rhyming words.

  •  I can read the sight words as, is.

Reading:

  •  I can make predictions about a story.  

  • I can identify characters, setting, and events in fiction.  I can use text evidence to answer questions about a story. 

  •  I can identify the author's purpose.

Math:  

  • I can explain how to solve a subtraction problem by taking a group apart and model the problem with an equation. 

  • I can solve a subtraction problem by taking a group apart and model the problem with an equation.

  • I can count to tell how many are left.  

Writing:

  •  I can write my first name.
