Please check local news channels, our school's Facebook, Warren County Public Schools' Facebook, or DOJO to see if we are utilizing NTI Days.
We can utilize up to 10 NTI days that will count as a "regular" school day and will not have to be made up at the end of the school year.
If your child is using their own personal device to complete NTI work, they will need to use this link to access the WCPS portal, which is where all of our programs are housed and linked.
Students will need to access their classwork and Google Meets through their Google Classroom. This is something that they have been working on all year, so it is a process they are familiar with. Teachers will also be posting information on DOJO to help out as well.
Chromebooks will be sent with students who do not have computer access at home.
If students do not have internet access, their teachers will send home paper copies of all work. All work will need to be turned in when students come back to school.
All individualized services will still be provided (i.e., special education, speech, GT, etc.).
There are requirements we have to fulfill in order for this day to be counted as a school day.
Teachers have to take attendance twice a day.
Google Meets will be held in order to take attendance, go over work, answer questions, etc.
Teachers have been assigned dates to turn in their lesson plans and student work samples to the district.
We try to make it mirror as much of a normal school day as we possibly can.
Please know that this is a stressful arrangement for everyone! I promise, we would much rather have your babies with us at school. If there's anything you are unsure about, don't understand, struggling to do, please reach out to your child's teacher and let us know. We completely understand that a lot of parents/guardians are juggling working full-time jobs, have multiple kids in school having to complete assignments, etc. and we get it! We want to work with you to make this situation the best we can. I promise we will get through this together!!!
