Year 7 Hercules Theatre trip
2026
2026
At Warden Park Academy, we believe that all students in Year 7 should have the opportunity to see a West End show. This year, we have arranged for our students to see Hercules: The Musical. This trip is not part of Character Enrichment Week. It will take place during school hours, so an expression of interest is not required, as it is expected that all students will attend. We will work with parents, students, and the SEND department to ensure that all students are supported to attend and enjoy their visit to the theatre.

How to make a payment
There is no sign-up sheet for this trip, as it is assumed that all students will attend (unlike trips advertised during Character Enrichment Week or half term, which are 'opt-in'). By making a payment, you are giving your consent for your child to attend the trip.
In order to pay for school trips/activities on our new Parent Payment Portal, you will need to register an account for your child using the link here: https://sussexlearningtrustpaymentportal.co.uk/login.aspx. You will need to click on 'Registration' and enter the account code and registration code that has been previously sent to you. If you have not received the necessary codes or need further guidance please contact: op@sussexlearningtrust.co.uk.
Please continue to use Parentpay as the platform for topping up lunch accounts and for making any contributions towards fundraising/charity items.
Consent to attend
If you are unable to make a contribution by 1st March, please contact Ms Shephard to let her know that you are still giving your consent for your child to attend; we cannot take your child without your consent. If you do not wish your child to attend, please let Ms Shephard know via email at sshephard@wardenpark.co.uk by 1st March. If your child does not attend, they will remain in school for their allocated trip day and follow the timetable of the other tutor groups. Please email Ms Shephard to withdraw your child from the trip.
What to bring:
Students will need to bring a packed lunch. If your child receives free school meals, one will be provided.
Please ensure they have enough water to last the entire day, as there will not be facilities to refill water bottles.
What to wear:
Full school uniform, worn exactly as if in school.
Character for Learning:
Students attending the trip must consistently demonstrate the best of our values. If a student has a Character for Learning score above 2.7 at the time of the trip, they may not be able to attend. Parents/carers will not be eligible for a refund, as final balances will have been paid to the providers. Please be assured that the school balances the consistent implementation of CFL grades with reasonable adjustments to meet individual student needs and circumstances.
