Global Citizenship - Identification of Local/ Regional Issue

In this project we are making a comic book about spider mans jounrey but using math to calculate the distacne of his escape and how far can he rescue the hostages. This coneects to one main issue in taiwan which is earthquake, because some times the roads are like what I drew not that flat so they will need ot build a shape that can stand when the earthquake happens while making the building high. So I used triangles and squares to make those buildings to stand on the land shape.

Conceptual Understanding of Mathematics

In this project the teacher gave us some of the numbers and angles to solve those euqations, but the hardest part I find is drawing those equations into a triangle into the project because it often does not make sense. So I had to spend time understanding how the triangle will look like and which angle is on top of the other and which one is on the opposite side on the equation. 

Collaboration/Feedback

This project is an individual project that we need to make it up by ourselves, so after I am done with it I asked my friend to give me some feedback of where I can improve like the accuracy of the triangles or the drawings, the most important feedback that I got is the angle that I drew does not fir to what was originally on the prompt so I had to spend time redrawing it and make it fit in what I am writing and calculating. And at last even if my picture were not perfect but at least I used my drawing to show clearly which side I am calculating and which angle I am actually calculating.
