Hello, my name is Austin. I was born in Shanghai in 2010 and moved to Taipei when I was three years old. I first studied at Ren-Ai Junior High School, then transferred to VIS Junior High, and I am now continuing my studies at VIS Senior High School.
I would describe myself as a little shy and not very outgoing, but I enjoy learning and trying new things in my own way. My favorite subjects are English and Physical Education. English gives me the chance to explore different cultures and express myself in new ways, while PE allows me to stay active and build confidence through sports.
Basketball is the sport I love most. Although I have tried many sports since kindergarten, basketball suits me the best. Playing on school teams has taught me how to cooperate with others and overcome challenges, even when I feel nervous or unsure of myself. These experiences have helped me grow both as a student and as a person.
In my free time, I enjoy listening to jazz music, which I grew up hearing from my dad. It helps me stay calm and focused, especially when I feel stressed. I also enjoy spending time with close friends who have supported me since elementary school.
I believe that although I may feel shy when meeting new people, I enjoy building friendships once I get to know others. I am also hardworking and determined, and I hope to continue improving my skills, developing my confidence, and preparing for future challenges during my time at VIS Senior High School.
Thank you.
In the class, we did the in-class interview practice. Aiden, Ethan, and I were in the group, and they interviewed me and asked questions about their outline. I think I deserve a 47, because I answered their question very thoroughly, and I also gave them some feedback that they did well and have to improve.
