Preparation:
I prepared my cardboard materials, glue, scissors, and coloring.

Incubation + Insight:
I let the assignment sit in my mind for about a few weeks and I got ideas in bursts, and by the time I started working on the assignment, I had the general idea for my self portrait. To be honest, there wasn't a specific moment where I got all the ideas at once, it slowly accumulated. 

Evaluation:
I was originally just going to add a hat, but I decided I rarely wear hats alone, so I decided to add a hoodie as well, which removed my ears since they would be hidden.

Elaboration:
I spent time from art class and in some break times to work on the art piece.
