For math class this year, the Ecohouse project is a big part of our syllabus. An ecohouse is an environmentally low-impact house designed and built using materials and technology that have low carbon footprint. For math, we are designing the layout, blueprint, and the whole ecohouse, including the materials and environment it is being built in.
These are some of my planning for my ecohouse.
This is my complete ecohouse floorplan. There is one kitchen, two balconies, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, one fitness room, and one storage room.
The main feature of my ecohouse is the setup part. There is a system in the house, with three social ranks; exiled, peasant, and quing(queen and king combined). There is a room and bathroom for all the peasants(normal people) to share, and the designated exiled person has to sleep on their own space on the balcony. The quing gets their own room and bathroom. Also, everyone has to pay for rent and food, there are self checkouts in the house to buy toilet paper and food and other amenities. There is also a fitness room where the residents can generate electricity for the house and earn money from doing so. So the house is very self-sustaining and in certain cases, you can even earn money from it.
If these were to be manufactured, I would say about 15-40 people per house. Due to the large amount of residents, the rent is lowered for each person, so thats nice.
