Pick a book you read recently/your favourite book and write a short review on it. You can complete it on a normal page under the same headings to save printing it off.

You could use this 'interesting words' template to record/make note of any new words you come across when reading a book of your choice. This will help you to understand the story better and develop your vocabulary knowledge.

You could try and create a new word fan for an interesting word of you choice from any book you read. Pick any word that you like or find interesting and see how many other words you can come up with that has a similar meaning. Think of words you could use instead of using the word you chose. Have a look at some of the examples below. You can complete more than one word fan per book. Alternatively you could pick a word that appears a lot in the book and complete the same activity.
