We really love hearing from you all so keep sending us those emails each week to 5thclassteachers@virginians.ie
Hi all, March 2020
We hope everyone is keeping safe and well since we seen you all last Thursday and maybe some of you are still busy working away on the activities we set for you. We also hope that you are helping out around the house with jobs, keeping active, staying in contact with family and friends through phone calls and messages and limiting your screen time during the nice weather.
We have put together some activities which we think you will enjoy to work through/complete next week (or this week if you have your other work completed). There is a lot to choose from as well as some additional activities for those who finish their tasks quickly (these have a pink background and should be completed after the initial activities given in that section).
You should aim to complete 3/4 different tasks or activities each day of your own choice along with completing one block/column of your Master your Maths workbook and some handwriting as well (2-3 pages of handwriting workbook each week). Some of the activities in the PE, choice board, art and music sections can be completed on a daily basis and don't take very much time to complete. We have included a home learning log section for you to use at the end of each day which can be found at the bottom of the blog to keep track of your own learning over the next while and the activities you complete.
To access any of the links you just need to click on them. This should bring you directly to the activity attached. All written work could be recorded/completed in busy copies so that all of it is together or you could use a spare copy/paper if you don't have a busy copy home with you. We have chosen a few activities within multiple subject areas and will ensure to include the other subjects in the next update.
All you can do is try your best each day by completing some of the activities and helping out around the house.
We will keep you updated and check back here for more updates in the future.
Happy Easter!
Enjoy and stay safe!
