Criteria the examiner is looking for:

• Experiments that show skills and analysis in consideration for artmaking techniques

  • media exploration, compositional exploration, color study

• Annotated images of skills and processes showing consideration for choices in media/ technique as well as problem solving

• Consideration for your artistic intentions

• Evidence in the depth of your learning

• Step-by-step process of your art-making to show depth in your skills                 

(All works need to be fuly documented!)

• Refinement and Reflection during the process that supports your artistic intentions, including changes in direction or technique

• Reflection on growth as an Artist

Visual and written evidence:

• Drawings, sketches, designs

• Small studies and experiments

• Contact Sheets of a photo shoto

• Photo test strips or editing options on screen shots

• Annotated photographic record of your step-by-step process

• Photos and sketches of your work space, studio set-up, lighting
