Begin your Process Portfolio and Plan some of your artworks:
STEP 1-
Set up your Process Portfolio: This will be in the form of a Google Slideshow.
Slide 1: Your Name, IBVA year (HL, you may continue in the same PP)
Design all slides after this one so they easy to read and in order.
STEP 2-
Select 1-3 topics from the list linked here or you can choose a topic on your own.
Slide 2: Add your 1-3 topics to this slide with a brief explanation of your initial ideas and interests related to the topic/s. You may define the word, state connections, etc.
STEP 3-
Create evidence of your ideas (PP Criteria C) to add to slide 2.
Options:
1. Drawings, sketches, designs
2. Lists, planning imagery with notes, mind-maps
3. Photos in a contact sheet
Your slides should not be formatted for presentations, but instead like sketchbook pages. See examples here
STEP 4-
Find an artist that connects to each topic/ theme to add to Slide 2.
Add an artwork image, the artist's name, and the source citation
*Also add these sources to your Last Slide, which will be your Works Cited Slide (you will add to this same slide all year)
STEP 5-
Critical Investigation/ Analysis of each artwork (PP Criteria B)
Slides 3-5: Investigate and analyze each artwork.
Check out the Critical Investigation checklist and example Investigation slides here.
STEP 6-
Be sure to update your Works Cited Slide that should always be at the very end of your Process Portfolio.
