Final Exhibition
The Studio Work that you create throughout the course will be the work that you select from to create your final Exhibition. You will select, plan, and arrange your work for the exhibit. You must also consider the viewers' experience in viewing your exhibit.
This is the Internal Assessment for IB Art.
Your Studio work should follow a theme, topic, thread, or guiding question to create a coherent body of work.
For each artwork you will need the following:
Title, Media, Size (cm)
Exhibition text (500 characters max):
Outline the intentions
Explain choices in technique/ media
Connect to your coherent body
Reference sources of inspiration
CURATORIAL RATIONALE:
SL (400 words max) HL (700 words max)
Justifies and thoroughly explains the selection of the work for a coherent exhibit
Justifies the arrangement in a way that supports your artistic intentions as evident in the final exhibition photos
(HL only) Articulates the relationship between the viewer and the space
Consider the viewers' interactions and reactions
Consider the path they will follow or how you might lead the viewers eye
