It is of course an important skill for the teacher to successfully managing the class. with different kinds of students characteristic and various kind of way for them to understanding the lesson is crucial so that the teacher could prepare for every scenario possible that could have happen while conduct the teaching activities. 

For me, since the lesson had to be done in a hour with the goal to make the student understand the importance and also basic skill to use the microscope, i mostly 'bait' the student critical thinking skill with giving them visualization regarding what could possibly related to why we should know and learn about microscope so that they could connect the dots of hints either from the images or the words/statements followed. and since in my 'class rules' i need them to be confidence in giving their opinion/answer, i give them the freedom to perceive and express what they know or understand from the hints given. 

and i definitely encounter some challenges in conducting my teaching practices, such times when none of the student felt confidence enough to give their answer even with the glance of wanting to spoke. so by choosing them randomly with the "eenie, meeny, miny,moe" game. so whoever getting chose by have to tell their answer and the lesson could keep continuing without stuck in a specific segment for too long.
