BREAKING NEWS 8/28/25
If you locate a TIN and it shows “Opted-In” and “Custom Branded” on the MP homepage, we must still open the account to see if it is a green invitational account (pictured right). If it is indeed invitational, the call does not need to be transferred and you are able to assist the caller as normal with their invitational VCCs.
Key Points
If a CBC provider receives one of these payments, their account will be the green color pictured below. If they process the invitational card, their account will automatically change to a Select Print opt-in status and change color to light yellow. They will then continue to receive VCC payments via mail for all partnered payers.
If they do not wish to receive the VCCs for the additional payers, we can opt out these accounts as we would a normal invitational provider, and custom branded will remain opted-in turning the account back to a light blue.
If they wish to stop ALL VCCs, we will have to complete the opt out for Select Print and submit a JIRA to exclude the specific custom branded payer listed within the “included payers” section of their demographics.
If a provider is calling in regarding just their invitational payments, we do not have to transfer them to the CBC line, however, if they want to discuss their CBC payments, the transfer can be completed to the 877-697-0871 (CBC) phone number. (Pictured below is how to tell if the VCC in question is a CBC payment.)
How to tell if the payment in question is a CBC payment – If the payment is CBC, the call can be transferred to the CBC line as mentioned above.
