Q. [Groceries] Are there Places Locally to Purchase Groceries?

A. We have a Food Lion Grocery Store that is located off of Route 522 South. There is also a Community Garden Market in downtown Berkeley Springs that is open daily; the Berkeley Springs Farmers Market is also open on Sunday from May – October. We also have a number of local produce stands that sell fresh vegetables. You can also purchase quality fresh meats and seafood at Tony’s Butcher Block which is also located on Route 522 South.

Q. [Organic] Where can you purchase organically grown and health food items?

A. This is a local market in the heart of town, on Washington St., across from City Bank. It has a wide variety of natural and health food items as well as organically grown fruits, vegetables and herbs. Q. [Butcher] How do I get to Tony’s Butcher Block?

A. Tony’s is a local butcher shop also located just south of town on 522. It is approximately a mile from the Morgan Square Shopping Plaza on your right. He has a wide variety of fresh cut meats, seafood and gourmet deli items. They are open Tuesday through Friday, 8 am to 6 pm and 8:30 am to 5 pm on Saturday. They are closed Sunday and Monday

A. Food Lion is the only major chain store in Berkeley Springs. It is located in the Morgan Square Shopping Plaza, which is on 522, South of Berkeley Springs. Specific directions are included in your confirmation email and directions are also available in the visitors guide at each cabin.

Q. [Farmer`s Market ] How do I get to the Berkeley Springs Farmer’s Market?

A. The Berkeley Springs Farmer’s Market is a seasonal market that sells locally grown produce, honeys, apple butter, jams and plants. It is open from May through October. It is located in the town square in front of the Court House. It is open every Sunday from 10 am to 2 pm. Come early for the best choices.

[Produce Stands] How do I get to the local Fresh Produce Stands?

A. There are several local produce markets in Berkeley Springs. -Sonny’s Produce is located on 522 South just past the entrance to Food Lion on your left. They sell seasonal produce and garden plants. They are open 7 days per week; 9 am to 5 pm. -Waugh’s Produce Market is located on 522 South, approximately 4 miles south of Berkeley Springs on your left across from Waugh’s Home Sales. -Glascock Farms Produce is open seasonally in front of Roy’s Service Center at the corner of Washington St. and Rt. 9 East.
