Youth Dance and Enrichment partners with Aramark at U.S. Bank Stadium and Delaware North at Allianz Field to staff concession stands with volunteers. In recognition of YDE’s volunteer support, these venues make charitable contributions to YDE based on their donation structure for each event. Volunteers may assist at Vikings football games, Minnesota United soccer games, concerts, and other special events as part of their charitable service to YDE.
Concession volunteers are not employees and are not paid for their service. All donations received from venues are made to YDE as a charitable organization and support YDE’s mission, including its scholarship program. Volunteers may indicate which youth‑serving or community organizations they would like YDE to consider when awarding scholarships, but volunteers do not earn or receive funds, and no portion of event donations belongs to any individual volunteer.
Scholarship disbursements are made by YDE directly to approved organizations and are used for the general benefit of the group or program, consistent with YDE’s charitable purpose. Scholarships are not income to volunteers and are not tied to individual volunteer activity.
YDE is proud to have a reputation for providing reliable volunteer support at partner venues. Guidelines for each fundraising opportunity are established by the coordinator and must be followed to maintain our partnerships.
We are excited to provide meaningful opportunities for families to participate in charitable fundraising that supports youth and community enrichment.
Volunteers are expected to arrive on time for the shifts they sign up for. Failure to provide adequate notice of cancellation, as outlined in venue guidelines, may result in the venue assessing a fine to YDE. If this occurs, the volunteer responsible may be asked to reimburse YDE for the fine.
Volunteers must follow each venue’s uniform and appearance policies.
Complimentary fountain soda and water are available to volunteers during their shift. Volunteers are encouraged to bring a refillable water bottle.
Cell phone use should be limited and kept out of sight unless needed for assigned duties such as inventory or cash management.
All volunteers must carry a photo ID and present it if requested by venue management.
Volunteers are encouraged to leave valuables at home. YDE and partner venues are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
