Youth Dance and Enrichment has contracted with Aramark at US Bank Stadium and Delaware North at Allianz Field to staff concession stands with volunteer workers in exchange for a minimum donation or percentage commission on all sales in those stands. Volunteers have the opportunity to staff concession stands at Vikings football games, MN Loon soccer games, concerts and many other special events.

Concession volunteers in our program are volunteers and are not paid for their work. Volunteers may designate a “share” of the proceeds of each event they volunteer at to various organizations to enrich the youth and/or community. Each month scholarship checks are distributed to designated organizations along with a report showing who volunteered to donate those funds. These monies do not belong to the volunteers; they belong to the organization designated. The funds are not income for the volunteers and do not belong to the volunteers. The stand commissions earned are paid to Youth Dance and Enrichment. Which, in turn, forwards them to the various organizations designated by the volunteers. These funds are to be used at the discretion of the various organizations for the general good of the group, not as income for individual members.

Guidelines for each working fundraiser is established by the coordinator and are expected to be followed.

Concession Expectations

• Volunteers are expected to show up for the shifts they have signed up for, at the time specified on the signup sheet. Failing to provide adequate notice outlined in the guidelines for each venue, may result in our group being charged a fine, which will be passed onto the volunteer who did not cover the shift as a charge against any credits earned.

• Volunteers are expected to adhere to each venues uniform policy.

• Fountain soda and water are provided to all volunteers working an event free of charge. We highly encourage volunteers to bring a water bottle from home into the event to fill up.

• Cell phone use must be kept to a minimum and out of sight. There are times money and inventory managers may use it to complete their work.

• All volunteers are required to carry a picture id and present it at the request of the venues management.

• Please leave all valuables at home. The venue’s and YDE are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
