**You Are Responsible for Finding a Replacement**
When you sign up for an event, you are indicating that you are available to work, regardless of where or when you are assigned. This applies to "waitlisted" volunteers as well. You are expected to be available up to the day of the event.
Failing to show up is considered canceling an event and leaves our group short-staffed. It is your responsibility to find a replacement, regardless of the circumstances.
**Need to Cancel? Follow These Guidelines:**
1. There may be waitlisted volunteers available to take your spot.
2. First, reach out to the waitlisted volunteers via email, call, or text.
3. Include the venue coordinator in any communication regarding your need for a replacement.
4. If there are no extra volunteers, email the entire Allianz group.
5. Send the coordinator an email with the change.
6. Communicate to your replacement, any additional details that came over email.
If you are not able to find a replacement, which leaves our group short-staffed for an event, you will be assigned a no-show fee of $150.00. You will NOT be able to volunteer with our group until this fee is paid. If you have multiple late cancelations, you will not be able to partake in this volunteer opportunity anymore.
We understand there will be times when an emergency may come up or plans change. Communication is key to helping YDE develop a good standing relationship with Delaware Sportservice.
