The Community Conservation Assistance Program (CCAP) helps local citizens who are having water quality issues. This program is for homeowners, businesses, schools, parks, and publicly-owned lands.
Purpose The CCAPis designed to improve water quality through the design and implementation of best management practices on urban, suburban, and rural lands not directly associated with agriculture. This program is also used to fund regional best management practices that benefit the community as a whole; local funding availability may be limited.
Eligibility Landowners within the district who own land not used for agricultural purposes. This includes homeowners, businesses, schools, parks, and publicly owned lands. If you meet the eligibility requirements and are interested in applying for assistance under the CCAP, contact the District office about completingan application.
Process District staff will work with the applicant to develop conservation plans, identify best management practices best suited for the issues, and design best management practices to help ensure their longevity. We will facilitate the contract process, from the initial gathering of information to the final request for payment after contract completion.
The Division provides administrative and technical assistance to the District and has final approval for all cost share contracts.
