No. Yadkin SWCD does NOT test soil – all testing is done by the Agronomic Division of the NC Department of Agriculture. Soil boxes and instructions are located on the front door of the Yadkin County Cooperative Extension Service at 2051 Agricultural Way, Yadkinville, NC. The NC Department of Agriculture charges $4 per box from December – March. Testing is free from April – November.
