Principal Investigator

I am an assistant professor at both Departments of Mechanical & Electro-Mechanical Engineering (MEME) and Materials & Optoelectronic Science (MOES), at National Sun Yat-sen University. Our research focus on improving current understanding of deformation mechanics of structural materials at the microstructural level. Techniques used are small-scale mechanical tests (nanoindentation, micro-cantilever, micro-pillar), and deformation mapping (HR-EBSD, HR-DIC, micro-grid). The improved knowledge can then be used to design stronger materials capable of serving at more extreme environments. Please get in touch if you are interested in any of our research!
