Nolan Bunnell

Nolan is a senior at the University of Kentucky majoring in Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering with a Bioenvironmental focus. He is also an Otis A. Singletary Scholar and a member of the Lewis Honors College. Nolan is currently employed by EcoGrow/Ridgewater Contracting and Consulting as an engineering intern after extending his summer internship with the company. He has previously worked for Roundstone Native Seed as a summer hand and for the University of Kentucky College of Agriculture as a Student Ambassador. Additionally, Nolan is a member of Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity, where he has served on the Judicial Board for two years and represented the fraternity in the campus-wide philanthropy DanceBlue for three years. After graduation in May 2018, he plans to continue his education in Biosystems with a Master's Degree.

Handerson Coq

Junior at the University of Kentucky, Handerson is from Haiti and is majoring in Biosystems & Agricultural Engineering (BAE). He is an undergraduate research assistant under Dr. Hildebrand David, a former member of the UK International Student Leadership Team, and a writer-storyteller for the International Center at UK. After completing his undergraduate studies in fall 2018, he hopes to pursue a master's degree in business administration. Handerson's ultimate goal is to return to Haiti and apply his knowledge and expertise to the need of the country.

Ben Poole

Ben is a senior at the University of Kentucky, on track to graduate in May 2018 with a Bachelor's Degree in Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering with a specialization in Bioenvironmental Engineering. He has been a research assistant within the BAE department for a year and will be taking on a T.A. position for Land and Water Resource Engineering in the Spring of 2018. After graduation, Ben plans to seek employment in water resource engineering and stormwater management.


Nathan Sheehan

Nathan is a senior at the University of Kentucky majoring in Biosystems and Agriculture Engineering with a focus in Controlled Systems. Upon graduation in May 2018, Nathan will also have completed the requirements to receive the Power and Energy Institute of Kentucky (PIEK) Certificate. He has been a intern at Hall Environmental Consultants in Nicholasville, KY. for three years now and plans to begin working there full-time after graduating.
