Question: What inspired you to enter into Surnamenomics?
Answer: Analyzing the complex universe of today Economics, I saw that there exist successful policiesor not, based on someone proper name. This means that apart some collective achievements, this analyzed aspect gives a greater weight to the action/achievemnt. For example, an aspect to be analyzed in a future paper is linked to Indianomics. That is an extraordinary development of this economy, beyond a threshold attempt as a goal. Furthermore, I was impressed by the list which circulated on WhatsApp, presented by India Prime Minister Narendra Modi (to the third term) regarding the Indian CEOs of the most important companies in the world, especially in IT and communication. In sum, the quality of the Human Resource towards innovation and development.
Question: Since how long, you have been into Surnamenomics and in which cities you have been associated for administration, entrepreneurship, teaching, research, commercial and training programs?
Answer: This interest is recent, more exactly after the pandemics ends. For these mentioned activities, to have a background knowledge in Surnamenomics is an advantage, because it helps to know both good policies and results and bad policies and failures, in order to make adequate decisions to real situations and get profit.
Question: What are your future plans for administration, entrepreneurship, teaching, research and training programs in Surnamenomics?
Answer: This niche economic field is considered in dynamics and perfectible. Why? Because any academician, practitioner, analyst in Economics and not only can propse a Surnamenomics, based on a leading person, on one economy’s achievements or outstanding results in other fields. Of course, this proposition, with solid justification, to be accepted by the specific scientific community and spread all around.
For example, what about the term Muskonomics? Not only due the fact that he is a controversial character, but he is oriented to future, in neuro-science, even for travelling in outerspace, but at the same time, as we see, he considers to be efficient and get more profit by fireing many people from his entities.
Question: Please introduce yourself and How do you want to be remembered / known in world?
Answer: My name is Alexandru Trifu, Professor Ph. D. At the Faculty of Economics, "Petre Andrei" University of Iasi, Romania. Ex-Dean of the Faculty and now Head of the Department of Economic Sciences.
Economics is my expertise domain, Micro and Macroeconomics and cross- interferences of Economics with other sciences, such as Psychology, History, Geography, Neuro-science.. These approaches lead to a better understanding of today world and open new ways of analysis and improvements.
The challenges, the threats, the news must be promptlșy debated, using tactics in Economics, because you see strategies are valid, I think, only on short or medium-term.
Add to my achievements articles, books, book chapters, activity as international reviewer, member of different scientific journals boards, citation on Gooogle Scholar, Research Gate, so on...
Question: What kind of businesses can be started in Surnamenomics? What minimum infrastructure would it need?
Answer: As other businesses, start-ups, it is needed of a minimum infrastructure/endowment, a computer being sufficient to connect with the world and knowledge/information in any field.
Question: What is Surnamenomics? What are the major branches in Surnamenomics?
Answer: Briefly, Surnameonomics may be considered a branch of Economics which starts from a person’s idea, conception, vision which can be used and detailed or spread in the benefit of all intrested in that action. Also, this branch of Economics may include experiences of countries, organizatioons which are valid to be known.
Question: What are your recommendations to frame guidelines on funding of research projects on Surnamenomics?
Answer: Due to the fact that activities/businesses based on Surnamenomics or including definitory elements are generally the same like the other kind of businesses, therefore the finincing is based on the same financial sources like the other projects/grants.
Question: How can universities produce revolutionary PhD and Post Doc thesis and dissertations on Surnamenomics? What are your recommendations to improve the academic standards?
Answer: First of all, the Thesis must have a actual importance and impact. In preparing Thesis, it is necessary for an appropriate documentation, documentation and information based also on important achievements in the respective field, that is using Surnameonomics.
Question: How can students seek job and career opportunities in Surnamenomics?
Answer: Actually, we don’t speak about strictly opportunities in Surnamenomics, but in jobs in which the knowledge got about the components and importance of Surnamenomics are prevalent and help in getting the desired job , job to balance with family and personal life.
Question: What job titles are available in Surnamenomics?
Answer: No matter the titles, important is that, knowing the examples in the field, to use everyone’s abilities, skills, flair to realize the desired line of action, desired tactics in businesses.
Question: Which are the courses available in Surnamenomics?
Answer: I consider that a single course with this title is ok, along with the other basic disciplines in Economics. This situation will offer the possibility of knowing different models of action, both at Micro level and at Macro level, good or bad, but which have influenced or influence our lives and works.
Question: What are your recommendations to write a world class research article in Surnamenomics? What essential components and factors must be there?
Answer As in the case of writing a book or a book chapter on this issue, a research article regarding Surnamenomics involve as propeller factor the desire to underline something special from the past, which determined an outstanding situation in economy and society. This means research, digging into the specific literature, to understand and, at the same time, to reveal the meaning of the Surnamenomics examples discovered.
On the other side and, I consider much more important, is to see what is happening today in the world, with a great velocity, and to come forward with possible examples of Surnamenomics of politicians, businessmen, well argued, and to gather the positive appreciations of the specialists and not only, thinking to representatives of different arts, chefs, or even member of the clergy.
The essential component is if the targeted actions and results are eloquent for the domain and can be widely spread out.
Question: What are your recommendations to improve employment and scope in Surnamenomics?
Answer: Knowing the meaning of Surnamenomics and what this large domain includes, that is a large range of specific knowledge and information, it is easier for application for a job, either in public services, or in private sector.
I consider that this branch ensure the background network which interacts with specific tasks required by the applied job.
Question: What are your recommendations to authors, who are writing Books on Surnamenomics for more creativity and understanding of the subject?
Answer: Once again, I consider that Surnameonomics is helpful tool for understanding Economics in general. Therefore, the books in this domain are better to reveal the main problem in Economics, problems which are structural if I may say. These analyses done are very important for capturing concrete aspects from a certain country, in a certain period of time.
Great books in Economics remain, from this point of view, valiod during years. Example, the book The Colonial Origins of Comparative Development: An Empirical Investigation, written by the economists and professors Daron Agemoglu, Simon Johnson and James A Roobinson in 2001 (my emphasis) was the corner stone for awarding the Nobel Prize in Economics for 2024 to the three authors.
Question: What according to you are the Top 5 major challenges (research problems) which need to be resolved urgently by world’s scientists in the area of Surnamenomics?
Answer: Only analyzing the components of the most important examples of Surnamenomics, both at Micro and at Macro level, we may focus on these important and urgent challenges of today:
1. Budgetary deficit which tends to become excessive;
2. Inflation and interests rates;
3. HR function, especially impacted by digitalization and the AI threat, all these leading to an obvious process of fireing and, hence, growing unemployment;
4. The food security, bio and health agri-products, a necessary subsistence food for a large part of the Earth’s population, taking into account that these days was celebrated the UN World Food Day;
5. Finding the means (material, human, financial) to recovery economies, as Germany (the EU engine), that is to reduce the economic decline and prevent, as possible, the upcoming recession .
Question: What are your recommendations to improve standards of Conferences in Surnamenomics? How can they be brainstorming and more creative?
Answer: First of all, I think that it is important to know the participants’ composition, that is the generational structure. The creativity and efficiency of these kind of discussions depend on knowing this structure, including the main characteristics and manner of action for each type of current generation.
Question: Which major challenges do you see to establish Romania as world leader in Surnamenomics?
Answer: From my point of view and due to the current economic, social situation in Romania, it is far away the moment for the development of some branches in Economics, even the case of becoming Leader.
Question: Any other thing, you would like to share with World?
Answer: Surnamenomics is like the Greek god Ianus Bifrons, with two faces: the first one looking back, to the past experiences, good or bad and, the other one, looking forward, towards future, in order to change the thing which gone wrong and prepare new tools, new devices, new conceptions adequate to our times, for a sustainable and prosper society.
