Our mission is to help increase the knowledge and importance of the 7 dimensions of wellness and showing how to make wellness changes to the employees of Worldwide Healthcare Supply, Inc.
Program Goal:
To enhance employee knowledge and awareness of wellness practices by implementing a year-long program consisting of bi-weekly informative sessions and workshops that empower employees to adopt healthier lifestyles which helps improving overall well-being, and foster a culture of wellness at Worldwide Healthcare Supply, Inc. (WWHSI).
The Process Objectives:
Influence the employees to join our program to help educate them on healthy lifestyle changes. By the end of the first quarter of the program we want 35% of the employees to be involved, and by the third quarter we want 50% of employees to be involved.
Create a drawing/giveaway for all employees that complete the full program from start to finish to increase initial participation in the program.
The Learning Objective:
At the end of the first 3 sessions, our participants will be able to identify simple but very impactful changes to their 7 dimensions of wellness that can affect their health.
The Behavioral Objective:
At the conclusion of our educational program for employees, 45% of employees will have started packing their own lunch and attending the exercise programs provided at their job.
The Environmental Objective:
Halfway through our year long program, we will be able to provide a wellness coach to each company to further help the employees with any questions when our program directors aren’t available to help.
The Outcome Objective:
At the end of our program 50% of participants will be able to report in the evaluation form that it positively impacted their health and feelings about the simple but impactful lifestyle changes presented in the program.
At the end of our program, we will see a decrease in fatigue from employees while at work, lower stress levels and they will be equipped with better stress management tactics.
In the article provided below, it showed that there was a need to look deeper into the stress of employees especially after the 2020 pandemic. There has been a rise in concern over the wellness of worksites and stress can play a big factor into overall wellness and performance at work.
