The 174th Morgan County Fair celebrates local agriculture and small-town traditions during the week of Labor Day, Sept. 7-12.
Fair admission is $10 per person or $30 for a season ticket. Parking is free for the week. The fairgrounds is located at 2760 S. Riverside Drive (State Route 60) just south of McConnelsville.
Monday, Sept. 7 - Labor Day; Fair royalty crowned at 5 p.m.
Tuesday, Sept. 8 - Tug pull at 10 a.m.; Antique Speed Tractor Pull and Garden Tractor Pull start at 6 p.m.
Wednesday, Sept. 9 - Rough truck contest starts at 7 p.m.
Thursday, Sept. 10 - Autocross Racing begins at 7 p.m.
Friday, Sept. 11 - Junior Fair All-Around Showmanship Contest begins at 6 p.m.; Supermodified Truck & Tractor Pull starts at 7 p.m.
Saturday, Sept. 12 - Fair week concludes with the demolition derby starting at 7 p.m.
Celebrate National Honey Month and experience small town charm during the inaugural Honey Hop in McConnelsville on Saturday, Sept. 26.
The Honey Hop is a pedestrian-friendly event that encourages visitors to explore the shops and organizations that call McConnelsville home.
Event hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Highlights include tastings, meet-and-greets with area honey producers and beekeepers, and special offers by the McConnelsville business community.

The Twin City Opera House in McConnelsville welcomes Legends of Rock: A Tribute to the 80s on Saturday, Sept. 26.
Legends of Rock will perform tributes to some of the most iconic 80s Arena Rock groups including AC/DC, Journey, Def Leppard, Poison, Guns N' Roses and plenty more.

The event celebrates Morgan County's rich history that dates back to its founding in 1817.

The Morgan County Farmers Market takes place every Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. through Oct. 29.
The farmers market helps provide easy access to locally-grown produce and other farm-grown goodies.
The market is hosted by the Morgan County OSU Extension Office in McConnelsville at the Main Street Church of Christ parking lot.
