Honey Lovers Invited to Visit McConnelsville During Inaugural Honey Hop Sept. 26

Celebrate National Honey Month and experience small town charm during the inaugural Honey Hop in McConnelsville on Saturday, Sept. 26.

The Honey Hop is a pedestrian-friendly event that encourages visitors to explore the shops and organizations that call McConnelsville home. 

Event hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Highlights include tastings, meet-and-greets with area honey producers and beekeepers, and special offers by the McConnelsville business community.

Rock-Out to 80s Arena Classics at Twin City Opera House Sept. 26

The Twin City Opera House in McConnelsville welcomes Legends of Rock: A Tribute to the 80s on Saturday, Sept. 26.

Legends of Rock will perform tributes to some of the most iconic 80s Arena Rock groups including AC/DC, Journey, Def Leppard, Poison, Guns N' Roses and plenty more.

Step Back in Time During Morgan County Heritage Day Oct. 17

The Malta McConnelsville Rotary invites everyone to the annual Morgan County Heritage Day, taking place Saturday, Oct. 17.

The event celebrates Morgan County's rich history that dates back to its founding in 1817. 

Visit the square in McConnelsville between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. for historical exhibits, demonstrations, local artisans and vendors, and family-friendly activities. 

Morgan County Farmers Market Runs through Oct. 29

The Morgan County Farmers Market takes place every Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. through Oct. 29.

The farmers market helps provide easy access to locally-grown produce and other farm-grown goodies. 

The market is hosted by the Morgan County OSU Extension Office in McConnelsville at the Main Street Church of Christ parking lot.

OU Community Clinic Makes Bi-Weekly Stops in Morgan County

Ohio University's Heritage College Mobile Clinic will be making regular stops in Chesterhill and McConnelsville this fall.

Mobile clinics provide free primary care services to adults ages 18 to 64 who are uninsured or underinsured. 

The unit will be at the Chesterhill Church of Christ at 7675 Marion St. and in McConnelsville at the Kate Love Simpson Library at 358 E. Main St.
