2-1-1 Services Now Being Offered in Hocking County

2-1-1 services are now available to residents of Hocking County.

The new Hocking County 2-1-1 provides helpful information and referral services to the community.

Dialing 2-1-1 in Hocking County can now help folks get connected with housing resources, food banks, utility assistance, mental health and healthcare resources, and senior services.

Hocking County Health Department Seeking Teen Volunteers for Youth Advocacy Program

The Hocking County Health Department is looking for teens to help with their youth advocacy program.

The program is for area youth ages 12-18 who want to help reduce teen vaping and smoking amongst their peers, creating a healthier, safer community. 

Teens will earn useful volunteer hours, build leadership skills, and help make a positive impact locally.

Hocking Hills Medieval Festival Returns to Logan Aug. 29-30

The 2026 Hocking Hills Medieval Festival returns to the Hocking County Fairgrounds Aug. 29 and 30 in Logan.

The event features tons of live entertainment such as armored combat fights, Vikings folk songs, and medieval wares for all. 

The Medieval Fest will be open Saturday, Aug. 29 from 10 to 6, and Sunday, Aug. 30 from 10 to 5.

First Live Performances at Logan Theater Scheduled

The Logan Theater is proud to present its first live musical performance since the grand-reopening.

Catch Angela Perley and Trey Hedrick in Downtown Logan Friday, Sept. 4 at 6 p.m. during the theater's "Front Row Friday" show. 

Angela brings a blend of rock, folk and country influences to the stage, while Trey's music leans on life in Appalachia.

Classic Movies 'Dirty Dancing', 'The Goonies' Screening at Logan Theater

The Logan Theater is turning back the clock with classic movie screenings.

September is all about the eighties with Dirty Dancing on Saturday, Sept. 5 at 3 and 7 p.m. Then catch The Goonies Friday, Sept. 18 at 7 p.m., and Saturday, Sept. 19 at 3 and 7 p.m.

Movie tickets are $7.50 per adult; $6.50 for kids 11 and under or seniors 60 and up. Proceeds help support future programs at the theater.

Hocking County Fair Begins Sept. 14 in Logan

The Hocking County Fair returns Sept. 14-19 in Logan!

Bring the family out for six days of fun - from seeing the farm animals and enjoying your favorite fair food to taking-in the grandstand and shelter house activities. 

Admission to this year’s Fair is $10 per person ages five and up; Kids 4 and under get in free. Ride bands will be available for an additional 10 each.

Annual Jack Pine Glass Pumpkin Festival Happening Sept. 17-20

The 7th-Annual Jack Pine Glass Pumpkin Festival takes place Sept. 17-20 in the Hocking Hills!

The Glass Pumpkin Festival celebrates craftsmanship, the arts and fall colors at Jack Pine Studios off Route 180 in Laurelville.

The festival runs Friday and Saturday, Sept. 18 and 19 from 10 to 7, and Sunday, Sept. 20 from 10 to 5.

Weekend admission is free, Parking is $10 per vehicle. Tickets for the VIP preview night on Sept. 17 will be available online at GlassPumpkinFestival.com.

52nd Annual Hocking Hills Artist & Craftsmen Show Takes Place Sept. 26-27

The Hocking Hills Artist and Craftsmen Fall Show takes place Sept. 26-27 at the Hocking Hills Lodge & Conference Center!

The two-day show features dozens of fine arts and crafts vendors from local artists. The show will be open to the public Saturday, Sept. 26 from 10 to 5, and Sunday, Sept. 27 from 10 to 4.

Admission is free, lunch will be available. The lodge is located off State Route 664 near Old Man’s Cave south of Logan.

Fall Edition of Hocking Hills Craft Show Set For Oct. 3-4

The fall edition of the Hocking Hills Craft Show will take place Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 3-4.

The craft show features over 100 vendors with everything from unique home decor and jewelry to seasonal art and local specialties - all taking place amongst the trees and natural beauty of the Hocking Hills at 20374 Clay Lick Road south of Logan.

Show hours are Saturday, Oct. 3 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 4 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is $5; kids and parking are both free.
