The Bells :
There 3 bells (see Dove's Guide below).
RCHM Vol II only lists 2 No (??) but these do agree with Doves.
1) By George Purdue inscribed "HALLVIA 1604 GP RR"
2) By John Sturdy of London inscribed "Sit nomen domini benedictum" - dating from c1440 - 1458 with a Plantagenet dated coin stamp.
Above : The piscina combined with a sedilia dating from c1340 (RCHM Vol II plate 4). On South side of sanctuary.
Piscina : stone basin for rinsing chalice with sedilia : small seat or rest.
Above : The Ham stone font dating from about c1200 (RCHM Vol II plate 8)

1938 : Diocese record of electricity being installed in the Church.
O S Benchmark :
The OS Bench mark is 98.3520m above sea level (Newlyn Cornwall). This bench mark (a bolt) at Winterbourne Abbas church is special as it was used for the first primary levelling of England & Wales in 1840-60.
