Reset NAV

Auto-advance to next mark in route, when getting within a certain range to current mark - On/Off
(Default: On)

Note: when Auto-Advance is active, the UP-button color is green.

NAV can auto-advance to next mark in route, when getting within a certain range to current mark.
Set this Range here or choose Default to read that Range from the route notecard.
If no range is set in notecard, a default of 50m will be used.

(Default: Use Notecard or 50m)

Show the red vertical beacon inworld - On/Off
(Default: On)

Note: To prevent the map from opening, when advancing to next waypoint, RLV must be activated.
You need an RLV capable viewer (e.g. Firestorm).
In Firestorm, go to Preferences > Firestorm > Extras:   Enable "Allow Remote Scripted Viewer Controls (RLVa)"

If Hovertext on the beacon origin is in the way of your view, you can move the beacon origin.

Settings:

• Ground level (0m)

• My Eye Level (current avatar altitude +2m)

• Altitude (50m)
  This 50m is changeable in the NAV child prim description:
  Right Click the Compass > Edit > tick Edit Linked > Select the NAV > enter an altitude in description

(Default: My Eye Level)

This function controls the behavior of the world map when advancing to the next waypoint.

3 options are available:

• "Keep closed (default)"  (needs RLV to work)
  (Default)

• "Close Map, when the boat is moving"  (needs RLV to work)
  (If you edit USB notecards and want to check them, this keeps the map open after advancing to next waypoint.)

• "Stay Open"
  Keeps the map open, even when the boat is moving. (No RLV behavior)
  (Be advised, the opened map will take focus, so you might click outside the map, to regain steering control.)

This function needs a RLVa capable viewer (e.g. Firestorm). If no RLVa is available, a dialog informs you, map stays open.

NAV sound and Simcross settings
If you get to close to Edge of the World, Region corner or -border, a text info with an optional alert sound comes up.

• Set NAV-sound volume.
  (Default: Middle)

• Set region cross Alerts to Early, Normal, Late or Off.
  (Default: Normal)

• Toggle region cross alert sound On/Off.
  (Default: Off)

If you use other Navigation tools, you can deactivate the NAV script here.
To restart the NAV,  go to Options > NAV.
