Note to Parents: 

1. We spotted a few areas with the teacher graded incorrectly. We are happy to review a problem or two if you feel like the teacher graded it incorrectly. 

2. Please have students bring work with them to class when they need help with it. 

3. We are going to make a bit of a shift in our planning so that the sessions begin with checking in on school work. The students are coming with lots of questions about what is happening in class so the good news is that something math-related is happening in class! The bad news is they are completely confused so that’s where we will support :) We will then be creating individualized portfolios of work for the students to focus on the areas where they need growth. Ms. Trudy has already been collecting awesome materials for the students’ individual needs. We will be working to fill these gaps in understanding so if you know if any area where your student needs more support, please just let us know! 

4. As always, it is always helpful for students to be working on multiplication tables so feel free to point them to lots of different (and free) game online and apps including this one: https://www.multiplication.com/games/all-games
