DUE TO THE ONGOING COVID-19 PANDEMIC, THE CHURCH BUILDING IS CLOSED FOR WORSHIP AT PRESENT. OPENING TIMINGS WILL BE UPDATED SOON.
Fellowship groups are important as a means of getting to know one another and of deepening our faith. We can discuss various issues, we can pray and worship together, and we can enjoy each other’s company. These are currently Wesley's small groups but if there isn't one that suits you, feel free to form another. You can find further information about the groups (location and contacts) on the board inside the church.
"We have found our time together both rewarding and helpful. Although we normally use the same material as the Fellowship group on Monday afternoon, it is noticeable how the two groups look at the same material through different eyes, each bringing their own insights."

"We read from different versions of the Bible, comparing translations and supplementing our knowledge with commentaries, study guides - and Google! We sometimes use group resources and questions, but don't have a regular leader, each playing a role in raising questions and stimulating discussion. We do have a tendency to drift off-topic into broader discussions, particularly when we related the Bible message to the practicalities of our daily lives. We meet in a welcoming and supportive atmosphere."
When? At 7.30pm on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month.
Where? In members' homes
"The sessions are led by various members of the church, usually with space for discussion. But rather than working through verse by verse, the leaders follow a number of themes that help to integrate the book being studied, both with itself and with the rest of the Bible. Meetings include refreshments, music and worship."
