Our vision
The vision of Wesley Church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ who love and serve God and others, and grow together in fellowship. We believe that all can have a relationship with God through Jesus Christ and that we are called to share the love and compassion of God with all.
Our beliefs
Our beliefs
At Wesley we witness to the truth about God the Father, the creator of the world; his Son Jesus Christ, Saviour of the world; and his Holy Spirit, given to comfort and guide us and create the character of Christ in us.
At Christmas we give thanks for the birth of Jesus into the world. In Holy Week we contemplate the Passion to come. On Good Friday we remember his life given for us. On Easter Day we celebrate his victory over death when he rose from the grave so that by faith all might have forgiveness and new life. At Pentecost we rejoice in the gift of the Holy Spirit, making the presence of God a constant reality.
We acknowledge the Bible as the inspired Word of God and our authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
