Our team of minister, pastoral workers and stewards aims to promote a warm and loving relationship in the church, and we welcome others to share in this warmth and love.
There isn't room here to name all the wonderful people who contribute to the life of the church, but if you are new to Wesley Church you may find it helpful to know what some of the team do.

Reverend David Shaw is our Minister and the Deputy Superintendent of the Reading and Silchester circuit.
Our Pastoral Care Team

Mary Ludlow is our Pastoral Care Worker. She assists the minister of Whitley and Wesley churches in the care of their people. She works with a team of pastoral carers who provide spiritual support services such as counselling and prayer.

Anna Ghelli is our Head Steward. Church stewards carry out the practical activities crucial to creating a positive experience for all on a Sunday morning such as acting as points of contact for first time and regular visitors, looking after local preachers, ensuring that the service runs smoothly etc.
