The modular confocal RAMAN micro-spectroscopy system is comprised of:
Two spectrometers
Monochromatic light sources (Laser Diode): 405 nm, 532 nm and 785 nm.
Objective turret (5x, 10x, 20x, 20x, 50x, 100 x and 63x H2O immersion lens).
Modular system of: Optical couplers to spectrometers, monochromatic light optical inputs and CCD video camera coupling.
Motorised platform system (X, Y and Z stepper motors) for positioning and focusing.
Scanning and micro-positioning system with electric piezo.
Evaluation software (WITec Project) and system control (WITec control).
Operation Modes:
Raman spectral imaging: acquisition of a complete Raman spectrum in each pixel of the image.
Flat (x-y direction) and depth (z-direction) scans with manual sample positioning.
Image stacking: 3D confocal Raman imaging.
Time series.
Single-point Raman spectrum acquisition.
Single point depth profiling.
Single-mode fibre-coupled UHTS spectrometer, specifically designed for Raman microscopy and low light intensity applications.
Brightfield microscopy.
TrueSurface: topographic Raman imaging.
