Early Thursday Morning an Officer in the BCSO was involved in a terrible accident in Senora near the Yellowjacket Bar. While the BCSO did not want to answer any questions regarding the cause of the accident or status of the officer involved, it is believed the Officer was speeding to respond to a call without the use of his lights. This information has stirred public opinion.

We tried to get an interview with the Mayor of Sandy shores on the matter but we were unable, instead getting the following answer from their office. “We take the Safety of our officers seriously and are looking into the incident”, The BCSO are headquartered in Sandy Shores and paid for by the Town and the State.
