Our fourth graders had an exciting hands-on learning experience during our squid dissection! As part of our study of animal adaptations, students explored the squid’s external and internal structures, identified different body parts, and learned how each structure helps the squid survive in its ocean habitat. Students showed curiosity, asked thoughtful questions, and made meaningful connections to what we have been learning in class. A HUGE thank-you to our parent volunteers who helped make this experience possible! We are so proud of our young scientists and their enthusiasm for learning!
