The Toreador are typically among the more selective of the clans with their Embraces. They seek fresh thinkers, the avant-garde, and those who desire experimentation and aesthetic discovery. A Toreador's goal in life is to indulge in all of the sensory pleasures of the world.

Artists, writers, musicians, dancers, and actors are all typical Toreadors, but the clan has always pushed the boundaries of art. Types like sex workers, athletes, or models are Embraced for their physical grace and beauty, their entire body considered a form of art. Others are chosen for their minds or personalities. Every Toreador is beautiful in some shape or form.

Critics of the Toreador label them as degenerates that cling to the baser aspects of humanity. This does not bother most Toreador, many of whom are proud of their reputation for hedonism.

Disciplines

Auspex

Toreador are ever on the hunt for exquisite experiences and use Auspex to identify the most susceptible or exotic victims for feeding. They also use it to discern the true feelings of their fellow vampires.

Celerity

Most Toreador claim to be lovers, not fighters, but when push comes to shove, few move faster than they do. Toreadors use Celerity to enhance their performances and end fights before they begin.

Presence

Toreador often use Presence in concert with Auspex to manipulate the emotions of mortals. Presence can also guarantee an appreciative audience or tank another artist's show.

Bane

Toreador desire beauty so intensely that they suffer in its absence. When you spend prolonged amounts of time in less than beautiful surroundings, you suffer a penalty when using Disciplines.
