Hidden Ones, Horrors, Sewer Rats

For the Nosferatu the Embrace is a journey through abjection and suffering, as their cursed Blood gradually deforms the struggling tissues of the human body into grotesque shapes. Weeks of pain result in deformities similar to terrible birth defects, cancerous growths, crippling injuries, or leper-like sores.

Nosferatu tend to live secretive lives, using their powers to blend in with society and quietly gather information. Many Nosferatu make a living selling this information. Others will create havens for other misbegotten souls to take refuge in.

There is an unfortunate stereotype that the filthy Nosferatu live in the sewers. This is not helped by the fact that many actually do.

Ironically, Nosferatu tends to be most humane of the clans. Its members generally aim to wear their curse on the outside rather than the inside. Perhaps something about pain and humiliation teaches compassion.

Disciplines

Animalism

The Nosferatu treasure Animalism for its utility in increasing their spy networks, gaining familiars, delivering messages, and defending their havens.

Obfuscate

The Nosferatu have mixed opinions on Obfuscate: it allows them to blend in, but it also masquerades that which defines them as a clan - some Nosferatu are proud of their deformities.

It's also an excellent tool for hunting and feeding.

Potence

Nosferatu use Potence to rapidly neutralize their foes when all other solutions fail. Most Nosferatu view it an efficient but rather barbaric tool.

Bane

Hideous and vile, all Nosferatu suffer a permanent penalty during most Social encounters, especially when dealing with mortals. You also incur a penalty to any attempt to disguise your appearance.
