Short Biography

He  received a B.S. degree in civil engineering (minor in mechanical engineering) from Hanyang University, Seoul, South Korea in 2013 and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in mechanical engineering from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), Daejeon, South Korea in 2015 and 2018, respectively. He is currently an Assistant Professor with the School of Mechanical Engineering at Kyungpook National University, Daegu, South Korea. Prior to joining Kyungpook National University, he was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Michigan from June 2018 and February 2020. His research interests include the modeling and control of the autonomous vehicles, the energy-efficient control of electric vehicles, reinforcement learning, and optimal control theory and its application.
