The animals on crop fields are being killed because of meat eaters, not vegans. Animal agriculture consumes 43% of crops, and almost all harvested forage, driving monocropping and utilising the most machinery on fields. Veganic farming exists, but as long as 7.9 billion people demand 82 billion animals to be farmed - farmers will continue to protect the crops the cheapest way they can (by killing animals). Livestock farmers also use pesticides in barns, they lay traps, they cull wildlife - resulting in more rights violations and deaths altogether, deaths that can be prevented, but won't be prevented in a non-vegan world. The deaths of field animals are on your hands, so blaming vegans for it - is shameful.
