Image editing
Windows, Mac, Linux, Android
GIMP (https://www.gimp.org/) - Gimp is an Open Source image editor. It is not an image creator so does not allow you to add shapes (ines, boxes, etc) to your image
Windows
Paint.net - ( https://www.getpaint.net/) Is a freeware image creator and editor and allows you to edit your images and add shapes.
Screen capture
There are many instances where you may want to include a screen capture in your website.
Windows
Windows OS [PrtScrn] and [Alt]+[PrtScrn]
Snip and Sketch (available from the Windows store) - an updated Snipping tool for windows
Snagit (TechSmith)
Video editing/capture
Windows 10 has XBox game bar that includes a video screen capture tool
Camtasia (TechSmith) - a commercial tool allowing video capture (web cam, screen capture, and has extensive tools for editing)
Your phone - usually saves an an mp4 but with a mobile extension). You may need to convert the video format for editing .
Audio
Audacity - an Open Source audio editor
WebHosting
NeoCities - is a free webhost that allows you to try Client side coding (HTML, CSS and JavaScript). There are some limitations and these are explained.
