EVALUATION OF THE WEBSITE
This website can also be considered a consistent source of information that meets the standard criteria proposed by Dudeney & Hockly (2007) for evaluating websites. The British Council is a widely recognized British organization that specializes in culture and education. Moreover, all the online information they provide is constantly updated, both in terms of content and functionality, by experts who seek to engage teachers and students in the educational process. An example is the link that allows students to work on the tasks under the title “Food in Britain”. The content is reliable, updated, easy to navigate and attractive. Furthermore, there are no broken links, large files, or alternative technologies. In fact, the video displayed on this link loads quickly and has good sound.
