"Dancing through the far light is starlight, all around are naught by ash. Dreamless slumber in this waking mind of void..."
The Gods of Tellus are ever-present beings who had established rules. Some of them are myths whose existence can only be proven by whispers and tales, while others have definite proof of activity. The researchers of Tellus had agreed to classify Gods into three categories. Outer Gods, Elder Gods and Nomads.
Outer Gods || The Old Ones
Faðir or otherwise know as "Fathir" is the Arthrake's Creator Deity. He purified the savage animals of the Imperiya into the modern Arthrakes in the wish to construct his own version of humanity. He resides in the realm of the Angurian Sea in his throne of Asgard. He is sometimes known as the 'Voracity' or his ancestral name, 'Vorrin'arthør.' As the saviour of the Arthrakes he is worshiped by the Imperiya's people. He was said to have constructed the World Tree of Jörmungandr in which fate is said to be grown from.
‘She’ had grown separately, far off part of the realms, isolated by the sheer amount of raw mana between where the other gods formed and where ‘She’ did. As a result of ‘Her’ loneliness, ‘She’ became a cosmic architect, fashioning new worlds and conquering old ones with a fervour that knew no bounds. 'She' is an enigmatic being, untouchable--with little contact with her followers of The Apocrypha. People of Tellus view this Deity either as a myth or as a malevolent being who sends invasions of the Propagation into Tellus. A horror beyond the stars.
A triad of gods consisting of Azura, Lady of the Twilight, and her two sons, Oniris, Champion of the Night, and Xeikias, Champion of the Day. They are known for their close ties to eldritch magic and are revered by those who seek to uncover the secrets of the cosmos. The Revelations grant their followers prophecies and forbidden knowledge — leading many to a state of illumination, but also to madness. They're widely worshiped in the Zafra'an Caliphate.
Elder Gods || The Great Ones
The Wolf Fenrir is a myth that some Imperiya parents tell to their children at night. Fenrir is said to be the law of the Hunt, he who punishes those who abuse the bounty of life and those who kill for the sake of killing. At the start and end of the chase, some may whisper his forgotten name to bless them with luck or to give thanks when a kill is earned. In the sense he is fabled to be a boogeyman of some sort, punishing those who do not follow the laws of the hunt.
Dalisay
The Goddess of Love, also known as Agape.
She was well known to be a kind deity who shared her wisdom regarding kindness and virtue, offering knowledge about good morals and characteristics. Her love was equal, regardless of race and past. What matters to her the most is the present, the actions one is taking to improve themselves. Dalisay believes in perfect peace and harmony within the lands of Tellus and was well on the path to constructing it -- if it weren't for history to have taken its course.
THE SAINTS
The once-mortal rulers of the Horizon Empire, rumoured to have usurped the thrones of the Paths and ascended to godhood.
Though the Great Families of the Horizon Cities claim descent from the Saints as the foundation of their right to rule, few records of their lineage remain in Tellus — save for the Sword-Saint, an ancient Vitalist who still walks the earth. The myriad cults of Horizon waver between revering the Saints and plotting to take their thrones, as they did in ages past.
