Origins
Demons is often a word thrown around towards supernatural entities. Aka those beings who look human but 'not human.' Similar to Angels, the word Demon is often misused as Axiamins are the only true demons in Tellus, since their ancestors actually came from a direct line of demonic entities which were Blood Demons.
It should be more spread that the Byakku Oni's are a subspecies of demon. Like how Axiamins came from Blood Demons, similar Byakku Oni's came from... well, Oni's. Ancient Onis were said to be Origin Beasts that resided during the Era of Beasts but devolved and gave up their Origin Genes to hide from threat of a rapidly increasing populace of Humanity.
Leading to the current Byakku Oni's of today. They are a tribal race, focused more so on the inherited qualities of the mind and culture then interacting with the outer world.
Such was the case where not even the Arthrakes who widely inhabit the tundra, weren't aware of their existence. Honoured warriors of renown often haul from Byakku Oni's for their identities are cantered around being peace of mind, peace of heart.
Appearances
Byakkumon Oni comes from the coldest environments, deep within the mountains of Ekelivmij the Far North along with the Arthrakes. Once thought to be demons, these isolated individuals were brought out by the Nameless, a previous isolated tribe now thrust into the horrors of war.
Having to fend for themselves they formed a small faction dedicated to maintaining their position as a neutral party.
One that the Arthrakes did not enjoy for they saw the Oni’s as pagans to their divine Father. Many were forced to participate in the War, leaving them at dwindled numbers. They had gradually assimilated into human society of all races, adapting to include such qualities.
They had shed their unbecoming skin and brutish size, adopting normal skin tones rather than dusky blue and crimson. They all still bear their horns, yet blackened remains of what once was. In addition, they tower above most of the other races, ranging from 190cm to 215 cm, albeit shorter than their race used to be.
When the Arthrakes discovered the Byakku Oni's, they enslaved the tribes and forced them to participate in the Nameless, fighting against Machina and Axiamins.
Such cruelty is what led them to abandon their homeland, seeking shelter in the human lands. There their degression began, adapting qualities of the humans.
Though they still do resemble the Oni's in some way. In modern times, the Byakku Oni remain steadfast in their valiant way of life.
Though some yearn for the cold lands of their homeland, many simply try to band and survive in a world that seeks their kind; Not for hate, but for the sheer talent they often bring.
All Byakku Oni's have the ability to explode and heat their blood.
Similar to Axiamin's, Byakku Oni's have innate properties within their blood. This being that they can heat up and detonate it. To survive in the cold areas of their homeland, their kind evolved a potent resource within their bodies. This allows them to heat up their blood to a boiling degree.
Once at this point, they can then detonate it resulting in an explosion equivalent to a grenade depending on how much blood was used. They can do this once every 3 rp turns. Naturally, there is a mental block that prevents Byakku Oni's from exploding inside and out, so thus they can only detonate their blood outside of their bodies.
