Admiral Jack Starchaser

Jack Starchaser is a decorated Starfleet officer and one of the most respected Human/Romulan commanders of the post-Dominion War era. With a service record shaped by loss, resilience, and unshakable honor, Jack has become a legend among those stationed near the Klingon border.

Jack joined Starfleet at just 15, inspired by the heroics of Captain Hikaru Sulu and the USS Excelsior. A gifted tactician and relentless researcher, he quickly made a name for himself both on and off the battlefield. His encyclopedic knowledge of ship history and fleet logistics caught the attention of then-Captain Robert Maletic, who mentored him during his early years aboard the USS Explorer.

He met his future wife, Anita, aboard that ship. Their union gave rise to a family that would eventually leave its own legacy in Starfleet—most notably his daughter, Rahhmi Starchaser, who would go on to command the USS Starchaser, a ship named in Jack’s honor.

But Jack's story is not without tragedy. In 2402, while serving as First Officer aboard the USS Heartless, the ship was ambushed by Klingon Raiders. Jack assumed command after the bridge was destroyed but was forced to make a brutal tactical choice: re-route to the battle bridge or attempt to save his family. He chose command, and in the aftermath, learned that Anita had died protecting their children during the boarding. While his son survived, Rahhmi was missing, sparking years of silent guilt and obsession.
