The publications below are the joint work of teachers from four European schools who collaborated in the international project Your Story is My Value: United in Diversity on ways to raise awareness of European values among teachers and students alike.

The schools involved in the project were the Higher Vocational School of Education and Social Sciences and the Secondary School of Education Kroměříž in the Czech Republic, Titan Partnership Limited in the UK, Colegiul National Cantemir-Voda in Romania and Agrupamento de Escolas João da Silva Correia in Portugal.

Young people born into the reality of the European Union tend to take its benefits for granted. They are used to travelling freely, to living in peace. We want to give them knowledge of European values and the skills to preserve them. Although educational activities and programmes that introduce the European Union, European values, citizenship and diversity into the school curriculum have been implemented in all partner countries, these themes still need to be emphasised, as shown by the results of the 2017 Eurobarometer survey. While the European Union and the national authorities responsible for education are introducing these themes into schools, educators lack the tools, methodology and inspiration to grasp and teach these themes. During the training sessions in the partner countries, teachers learned from their colleagues new approaches to teaching European topics and recorded them in the book you can download bellow in English, Czech, Portuguese and Romanian language.
