1.1.1.7.ES is released! Download it here, and read the instructions to use below. This version does not work on regular Scratch or TurboWarp.
This extended support version will get updates every once in a while, with the updates either being about security or general bug fixes.
ScriptOS 1.1.1.7.4ES is a "extended support" version of ScriptOS 1.1.1.7.4. The ES in the version name means that it supports an experimental sub-system that may break the stable version of 1.1.1.7.4 which is why it is separate from 1.1.1.7.4.
This version of ScriptOS allows compatibility with FacePass, the facial recognition system built for ScriptOS. This version of ScriptOS can only run on the Scratch Labs website, which is where you can test features before they are released to the main Scratch website.
Learn more about FacePass here.
First off, download ScriptOS 1.1.1.7.4ES.
Then click here to go to the Scratch Labs website. It might take a little bit to load the website.
After the webpage has loaded, click File in the upper left corner of the webpage, then click "Load from your computer".
After you have done that, navigate to the file that you just downloaded and open it into the website.
After that, you can run the project. The project may be laggy and crash often.
To register your face, go to the FacePass sprite, go to Custom Blocks, and click "Register". Make sure you have camera access enabled. A proper registration process might get added later on.
