FOCAL PERSON QUALIFICATIONS
The SOCI Coordinator must possess the following qualifications:
1. He/She must be a full-time regular faculty of the College.
2. He/She must have the capacity to initiate, implement, monitor and evaluate plans.
Terms of Office:
A SOCI Coordinator/Focal Persons shall only hold office for a maximum of two consecutive terms with three years per term.
Process for Selection of the SOCI Assistant Coordinator/Focal Persons
The CEC Chief will chair in the selection of the SOCI Assistant Coordinators together with the Program Heads of different colleges.
The Selection Committee shall prudently screen the possible nominees using the stated SOCI Assistant Coordinator qualification as bases.
After having selected at most five nominees, the Committee submits the names to the VP-Branch Operations of the school for approval and issuance of special order.
Office Hours
The SOCI Assistant Coordinator/Focal Persons shall facilitate in all community extension/outreach program of his/her department and perform all his/her duties and responsibilities as stated in the special order issued.
Compensation of the SOCI Assistant Coordinator
The SOCI Coordinator/Focal Persons shall receive no remuneration. All full-time faculty members are required to engage in community extension projects of the college or of the university.
